Communist Rot Front Party Pin Late 1920`s???

Guys,
I posted this in the communist section but figured I`d post it here also. I`ve had this pin for some time now and always thought it was a standard communist party pin from the 1950`s until I looked at the back and saw the maker mark and where it was made, which led me to wonder, is this a Communist Rot Front party members pin, the same ones which did battle with the Nazis in the streets in the 1920`s and early 1930`s? If it is, how rare are these pins?

PS. The enamel on this pin is very well done, however does not come across very well in this picture

this one is communist party pre-1933. they are much rarer than most Nazi tinnies or pins. for obvious reasons, not many of the owners kept these after 1933. prosecution of communists was of course much tougher than prosecution of your ordenary nazi after 1945. any communist and rotfront items from pre-1933 are very scarce.
